Sharing Practice

relating the body

performance practice

“Relating the Body” is a performance practice that allows us to question, explore, and reprogram the relationship system between body and environment through imagination and movement.

Intensity arise from relationships—between body and gravity, material, consistency…Lying on the ground, filled with feathers, suspended, a body made of wood, of oil, on the water's surface…
The immatirial body has all possibilities… The more we engage with these, the more intense our perception becomes, and the freer and more capable our material body will be.

For fifteen years, I have been researching at the intersection of movement and consciousness. Initially, my research solely supported and developed my own artistic work. Since 2020, I have been working on “relating the body” as a performance practice for professional performers, dancers, and artists, as well as for anyone interested in exploring new ways of “understanding” movement and “becoming moved,” and who wish to research in the “laboratory of presence.”
